Borich heading into the pits on the second lap with Ballance and Yokley pulling in right behind him as he pitted for goggles and a splash of fuel before blasting back out of the pits remaining in the lead.

Smiley would opt not to stop at all on the 2nd lap, which allowed him to jump from fourth to second place by edging out Yokley as he pulled out of his pits.
