Chris Jenks was running strong, and would be the only Can Am to complete the race in the XC1 class
Jarrod McClure shadows Johnny Gallagher on lap 3. McClure would fall back as the 4th lap was completed, finishing 14th
Bryan Baker's Polairis took a beatimng, and after 3 laps had to be pulled in to the pits
