seems like 4-stroke roulette is the name of the game:eek: lots of engine problems this year. Oh well this is just practice for the WPSA..well except for byrd:D

You know, uless something changes drastically, Joe isn't even going to have to show up for tha last couple races of the year. There isn't going to be anyone to race with and honestly that is SAD! As a racer, I wouldn't think that would NOT be any fun for him either. Everyone has to admit, Joe is on it also. He could race a 300EX and still win the championship once the WPSA series starts up. Unless Pat Brown desides to ride something other than that pile he's on now. A differnt color would do him good, ANY color other than the one he's on. To be honest, I don't get it either, because Bill Ballace can pound the pi$$ out of his for 2 1/2 hours with no problems.
Joe, please race the WPSA series. Other wise your summer is going to be really dull!;)
C'mon guys there are what.....11 races left. Anything is possible....
Yeah I know a lot of them racers are going to switch to the WPSA but at the same time they will run both GNC and WPSA unless the dates are the same for some races.
I don't think they build the X-country racer engines up as much as they do MX engines...I could be wrong about that too!
just let the season unfold guys......

Aaron
I wouldn't count Jeremy Lawson out of the chase for the championship for GNC!
Yeh Jeremy is a good choice also, I just thought that Joe and Pat were the only 2 that were committed to the GNC series. I also understand that they are being paid to race the GNC's also. As a racer, I would want some compatition is all I'm saying.
Being from Illinois though, I've got to root for Chad no matter what series he races.
Weinen and Natalie's motors are great motors and the builders are awsome, they are just having some bad luck right now...they just ride too fast for the motors to handle!!!!!
So where does that put all the other Pros and their engine builders?Quote:

I don't think Natalie or Wienen need a different builder....they already have one of the best. Them 2 guys are just having some tough luck right now and that's how it goes sometimes......Remember JONES #2 last year???? He had bad luck for his first 4 races then came back to be 2nd in points until his unfortunate happening.... The tough luck for Wienen is just that...tough luck! He and Natalie are just gonna have to put thier heads down and do what they do best....RACE!

so what do you think they have been doin? they always put their heads down & race. you have a line, build tha crap outa a motor they wont hold up. period. build one fast & reliable. not a 65 hp time bomb. if you say chad has not put his head down & raced your an idiot. watchin him this year is kinda like watchin james stewart. same level in my book.
Yogi - take a chill pill.....I didn't say that Chad isn't riding hard enough. I just simply meant he needs to keep coming back at it hard. As for the motor building... I think it's a fluke for now.
But really chill out.
Dang, wienen would be so fast but like others said he is always having mechanical failures and on the last lap? Come on, maybe he will learn from these mistakes and get a good engine builder who makes power and reliability for at least one moto.
