Mike Novak once again put his Yamaha out front early as he continues to get out front early, but he wasn't alone with Brandon Sommers going wide and staying on the gas looking to beat Mike Novak to the 2nd turn as Christoper Stephens closes in from behind on Novak.

Tyler Lenig continues to struggle with his starts as he was several quads back behind the leaders, but this hasn't seemed to slow him down too much as he normally works his way up behind Brandon within a few laps.

Senior & 2 Stroke Class
Three Time National GNCC Champion (85,86,87), Tom Tokay, has returned to ATV racing this season competing in his 3rd event of the season, and this time he decided to give the Senior Class a try and was off to a descent start ahead of Jim VanLockie as they chased down the leaders.
Bruce Marshall grabbed the Holeshot and lead the way for the 2 Stroke Class

By the end of the 1st lap, the first rider to emerge from the woods and make the descent down "FMF Dooms Day Hill" was #1 Bill Ballance all alone out front as the rest of the Pro struggled to make up time after some chaos at the Hill Climb, which claimed several riders.
Bill Ballance was the 1st rider to head up the hillclimb, with Matt Smiley, William Yokley, and several other pros in chase, but Matt found himself stuck on hill and began to slide back down into William Yokley which blocked the path up the hill.
