The young, #3 Chris Borich, is hungry for the title as well, and after switching to the Honda, he has been a force to reckon with. Since the switch to the Honda, Chris Borich won two of the last three GNCC Event and also the Sparta II round. Also, he has won the XC ATV Olympics, 12 Hours of ATV America with Natalie & Smiley, along with various other local and regional ATV events over the winter.
#4 Matt Smiley will be racing his Factory Polaris Predator for 2005, and Matt feels extremely confident that his new ride will make the difference for him this season.
#5 Chad Duvall wouldn't be racing the Opening round due to being diagnosed CML (Chronic myeloid leukemia) which is a type of cancer of the blood and the bone marrow. It is caused by abnormal white bloods cells developing that the body keeps producing in large numbers, which causes the white blood cell count to rise dramatically.
Chad’s white blood cell count rose to 128 thousand and it should have been around 4 to 11 thousand, but with the treatment of Gleevec, Chad’s blood cell has returned back to normal, but he won’t be able to race at this time, but it wasn't enough to stop him from making the trip to show his support for his fellow riders.
Chad is a fighter and if we all keep him in our thoughts and prayers, I am sure he will pull through this and will be back to racing in no time.

#6 Bryan Cook returns for the 2005 on his Four Stroke Tech YFZ, and is looking for a repeat Overall win this season without any controversy surrounding it.
The Four Stroke Tech team has been expanded for 2005 to include three Pro Riders including #6 Bryan Cook, #7 Chris Jenks, and #11 Michael Houston, so Four Stroke Tech will have 45' of space on Pro Row for the 2005 season and will have a huge easy up to fill the spot by Florida.
#9 Brandon Ballance has been training hard over the winter and is looking to move his number closer to the #1 spot by the end of the season.
#10 Greg Trew has been busy racing in Florida over the Winter and is also excited about the start of the season.
#13 Todd Knippenberg started off last season on his 400EX and switched to YFZ for a few rounds and ended the season on the 450R. It looks like he found a match, since he is starting the season out on the 450R.
#23 Bryan Baker has returned to Pro Racing. Bryan Won the Pro Production Championship in 2002 onboard his 400EX, but took the 2003 season off and returned to racing in 2004 on a Vforce to compete in the Open A Class.
With the Kawasaki program dropped, Bryan Baker is back in the Pro Class on a Green 450R which was the same color as his 400EX in 2002.
Local Rider from Muenster, TX , #301 Shawn Hess, decided to try his hand at racing in the Pro Class.
