For the end of fourth lap, I headed back across the road to one of the steepest downhillls on the course and waited for the leader to emerge at the top of the hill! Once they passed me, they only had a little over a mile of course left with the motocross track included.
In typical fashion, Bill Ballance was once again out front at the end of the race, and he had bult up a several second cushion between him and the rest of the leaders.
William Yokley emerged in 2nd as he came flying down the hill.
