With the Pros due to appear at any moment for the completion of the 1st lap, many spectators gathered around the half pipe to watch the Pros go over some jumps and through some water holes.
Also, a wood bridge was built over the half pipe, which gave spectators two chances to see their favorite riders in a short period of time.

Leading the way was Matt Smiley with surprisingly Bill Ballance already working his way up behind Matt even after an early collision with Chris Borich. Close behind the pair was William Yokley and Chris Jenks as they all rode around the jumps to save time.

Thomas Barrett didn't take the easy route around the water holes, but instead used them as a way to cool down as he plowed his 450R into water creating a tidal wave, well not really, but it was close.

Heading through the section behind Andy Lagzdins was Chad Duvall back in 16th, and he would call it a day before completing the second lap as he was having trouble holding on and didn't want to risk injurying himself or someone else.

The next through was the Pro Am Riders with James Wahl out front ahead of Duane Johnson in 2nd Place, but amazingly, Adam McGill had already worked his way from 30th place to 3rd by the end of the lap with Scott Barron, Brandon Sturdivant, and Chris Bithell forming a train behind him as they were all within 2 seconds of each other.
Derek Litterini was back to 7th and had a nasty spill through the section with sent his quad flying, but he didn't waste much time remounting it and taking back off just over 30 seconds behind the lead group.
