#110y Tommy Harris moved up from 4th position to 2nd place in the final lap.
Following the leader, #8y Brandon Lugan held 2nd place ,but misfortune would cause him to fall back one position as his pipe completly broke off and lost power in the last three laps.
Lugan still finished the race, but would have to settle for a respectable 3rd on the podium in the Sport 8-15 class.
Beach racing was quite an experience I must say!
I think we can pretty much say that this year,we have literally raced just about every type of terrain at some point threwout the year .
This course was very windy, brutal, whooped out, horsepower robbing and grueling by the end of the wk. ends racing.
These youth riders done a find job this weekend racing .
Im sure we will see some of these kids as Factory riders some day . :)
That about wraps up most of the Youth classes for Round 9.
the final round will be held in Taft, California Nov. 9-11th.
Watch for the Amatuer race Coverage ,along with the Pro main recap and highlights as well as Interviews and Pro vidoe Coverage.
