What do you do when Can Am gives you a DS450 and asks you to write about it?
1st, you take a rider who has never raced a GNCC event, add him to a quad that doesnt have a great finishing reputation and mix it into an event that required radar to follow the course:p
Kevin Hill was our rider aboard a bone stock DS and he learned first hand they do not start very fast:p

Womens Novice was graced by someone I stated in a previous coverage thread that would be a threat. Jesi Stracham proved me correct as she grabbed the holeshot and rode her YFZ to the class win! An awesome ride by a great rider!

Back in the woods things were getting interesting as the leaders all battled for position. The horrible dust was causing problems for many, especially in the field sections that quickly had zero visability. Back in the woods there was some relief as slower speeds equaled less dust.
Micheal Shelly was competing in the Schoolboy class, his first GNCC event. Shelly finished the day in the 18th position amongst some fast riders in the class
