From the AMA/ATVA rules:
Points awarded per moto are 1 point for first, 2 points for
second, 3 points for third, etc. The rider accumulating the
fewest points after both motos is the overall class winner. In
case of a tie, the winner is the rider with the better finishing
position in the final moto.

nope wasn't the linkage it was the tabs off the swinger that broke take a good look at the pics of the bike after damaged the linkage is all still there but the tabs from the swinger are gone, this happend to me on a swinger my friend made.

John Natalie is running a Roll Design rear swingarm and front end.
Both Gust and Jones had stock rear ends, minus shock, and I didn't look at the linkage real close, so I am not sure.
I know that I read a interview where he said that he was going to run the stock swingarm, must have combination that worked better.

in this pic you can see the stock pull rod off the dog bone this is the part that broke I bet

Either the linkage broke in half or they are running 2 different linkages because if you looka t both pictures closely you can see that the CNC'ed part is different and has a bolt through it .....it looks shorter either way the pics of the linkage on the quad on the 2 stands is different than on the race bike.
actually i was wrong after further inspection of the pics it wasthe frame tabs that broke off. the bolt that you are seeing should have been connected to the frame it is now pointing backwards to the rear...
whao what a trip...Good racing all weekend long.
The pro class was great...Natalie is Fast but Jones looks alot faster..
It's going to be a great season
