Pilotte would exit turn two and face a challenge from Richard Pelchat as the pair raced out of the corner

Pomeroy would get sent sideways and shoved into the dirt but would soon be back in the mix

When the dust started to settle, it was appearent that not everyone made it through turn 1 clean as Jason Connell was tangled with another rider

Pilotte would have a solid hold on the lead as he works down a straight headed back to the finish line to complete lap 1

Pelchat would hold 2nd as Haavisto kept him in check

Jasmin Plante would skate by Vincent Mofford as he started moving through the field of riders

Pilotte scored the first lap with a sizeable lead, and the battle for second would have to wait. Pelchat and Haavisto set their sights on the leader and would not battle hard until they caught him.

The racing behind the leaders was hectic as everyone wanted upfront! Myles Santaniello and Christopher Holden work their way over a jump as they head back into the tight sections of the track

Connell was trying to make up ground from the first turn fiasco

Pilotte was riding very smooth and holding a good pace as he continued to lead
