I like the 400 plastic/seat/tank. Looks good to me.
But the 700....it's hard to know what to say. I'm disappointed on many levels. Seems like they were going more for KFX700 territory instead of Raptor 700 territory. And that is NOT what I wanted.

As I posted in the other '08 lineup thread, I'm very disappointed ...
700XX - supposed to compete with the Raptor, not the Wolverine. Plastics look like a utility quad and what the heck is up with the IRS? It has been pretty much decided that IRS is not the way to go, hence why Polaris is introducing a standard version Outlaw.
400EX - what's with hyping up the new 400 if you're not going to change anything? I like the new plastics and seat but the suspension needed a re-do and EFI would be nice.
Big Red - nice name. Not really. Honda's SxS should look more like the Hippo "concept" and less like a Mule. All they had to do is take a Rhino and/or RZR and make it a Honda.
I guess the new KTM 450/525 just moved higher on my list.
This was a huge disappointment... Only thing cool I see this year is the 2008 limited edition crf450. Comes in all black and looks pretty sweet.
I think the 400ex looks ugly. The originals were my favorite. =]

The 400 looks tight, I like it. I still think the original look is best, but this definitly comes in second.
I wish I had a 360 view, though. Are those rear plastics 2 piece, riveted together? That will be a mistake.
Also, I'm not too keen on this new trend in plastics. You get these huge heal guards that are shaped to flow with the rear fenders. That's all well and fine, but it looks really stupid when you remove the heal guards to put nerfs on.

The 400EX looks pretty good, but wished they had improved on the design more. The 700XX is ugly and I wouldn't want IRS on a sport quad.
The 700 wont look too bad once you remove the 2-piece elephant ear fenders. They would make good mud/splash guards in a muddy race though.
I don't think it was made to "compete with the Raptor700." The raptor 700 is a dune machine. This will be a woods machine.
I'm not saying it will or won't be any good. Just my speculations. Havent seen any info on the rear IRS.
Reminds me a lot of a Polaris Scrambler honestly.. lol.
whoever has been making the atv decisions at honda the last three years needs to be fired. it's been really disappointing the way they have done things
