#1 Bill Ballance reflexes didn't fade any over the summer as him and his brother Brandon catapulted their Yamaha YFZ450's off the line with Borich, Jenks, Rice, Cook, Smiley, and Houston all in chase as they sprinted to the first turn.
Bill Ballance swung his YFZ450 around the first turn throwing a rooster tail of dust with his Maxxis tires as Chris Borich makes his way past Brandon and in behind Bill.
Matt Smiley railed his Polaris Predator around turn one and was directly behind Bill Ballance in his cloud of dust.
Jeremy Rice sliced his way through the pack and in beside Borich with Matt Smiley and Brandon Ballance right behind them. The Four Stroke Tech riders were all bunched together in a tight group with Cook leading the way followed by Jenks and Houston.
The start was extremely dusty and if you weren’t out front you were eating some serious dust, but luckily this wasn’t the case for the rest of the track as dust wasn’t an issue at all compared to the last round.
With Bill Ballance remaining in the lead after the third turn, the drag race was on between Chris Borich and Jeremy Rice down the football field length straightaway before serious of more turns before heading into the woods.

Scott Barron grabbed the Holeshot with Joshua Ribley hot on his heels.
With Barron in the lead, #49 Jeffrey Pickens aboard his Honda swung wide around the turn hoping to have the advantage on the inside of turn three.
With roost flying, the two sprinted to the turn with Barron maintaining the lead.
By the end of lap one, Barron contiued to lead the race with Joshua Ribley right behind him followed by East Coast ATV riders Rob Hertz and Sean Neidlinger, and Jeffrey Pickens had dropped back to 5th Place
Open A
#95 Anthony Hill blasted his Yamaha YFZ450 out to the lead as the Yamaha's were dominating the first couple starts of the race.
By turn two, #111 Cliff King moved in along side Hill and began to challenge him for the lead with Kyle Martin aboard his Honda right behind them, but by the end of the lap, the lead would belong to #909 Mike Carter with Hill dropping back to 2nd place and feeling the pressure from Craig Reed in third with Cliff King back to 4th.
