The battle was one for the Holeshot in the Utility Stock Class with Michael Swift, Mike Penland, and Chuck Ward all side by side heading into turn one.

Following the Utility Stock Class was Thomas Wright finally getting his Honda started and amazingly he was able to pass his way through the Utility Class and into half way through the 35+ Class to 14th by the end of the 1st lap.

16-21 C Class Start
The Class leader, Brent Flotz, grabbed the Holeshot followed by Nick Devore, but by the end of the 1st lap, Travis Shaffer had taken over the lead with Brent Foltz dropping back to second place only five seconds back.

Jason White's highly modified Brute Force out powered Clifton Beasley's Prairie into turn one with Scott Kilby's virtually stock Bombardier Outlander 800 hanging tight behind the pair.

Bryan Buckhannon and Jim Stack aboard their Honda's swung wide heading into turn one chasing after the leaders.

Meanwhile, Clifton Beasley took over the lead heading down the straight away before hanging a right hand turn into the woods.
Amazingly, by the end of the 1st lap, Jim Stack would charge his way through the pack and take over the lead with his brand new Stock Honda with Scott Kilby moving in behind him.

Utility Unlimited Start
Brock Parker immediately made his presence known with his Holeshot while Ron Moore, Doug Henke, and Robert Obrick in chase.

Parker quickly began to pull away from the pack with Neil Belcher moving his Hybrid Polaris into 2nd place ahead of Ron Moore in 3rd.
By the end of the 1st lap, Kirk Eger moved into 2nd place and only 5 seconds behind Parker with Belcher in third, but Kirk Eger would only complete two laps which would put Belcher back up to second place.
