#2 Chris Borich quickly made up ground after his poor start, and was up to sixth place and hot on the gas!
After the pros, went through the paved road pits they screamed across a dirt round that was a complete dust cloud. John Natalie Jr hammered through the dust, but began to get blisters on his hands and decided to call it a day because he couldn't risk being slowed down next weekend at London, Ky GNC.
It is great to see riders like John Natalie Jr cross over and race the GNCC series! I will have to explain to John before the next race the benefits of wearing Blister Resistor gloves.
#12 Bryan Cook was running 7th place, but was suffering from arm pump!
#9 Todd Knippenberg had his 450R up to 9th place behind Johnny Gallagher.
Jeff Stoess was up to 11th and closing in on #15 Andy Lagzdins
Greg Trew was back in 12th place trying to work his way up to the front.
In the Beginning of the third lap, the top 5 pros came into pit except for Bill Ballance. Bill Ballance opted to push hard for one more lap before pitting for fuel, and he quickly developed a lead over the other riders.
Matt Smiley was trying to catch back up and make the return pass when Bill Pitted at the beginning of the 4th lap.
Chris Borich was up to third place
