Logged on and oh man. I'd love to go back in time!
Wow! I felt like I walked into an abandoned castle when I logged in. This place was the best place for info when I was racing back in 2001-2004. I loved this place.
Where do people go now for quad setup info? My son wants to race my 450er and Facebook sucks for setup info.
There were some great people on here over the years....86atc250r, 4punksdad, pappy......
Would be nice to go back in time.
LOL I felt the same way.......most everything is 2013 or older
Sad!!!
wow...im shocked theres new posts here.
i check in every so often just to see. but its dead mostly.
Definitely a bummer. Almost everyone has migrated to Facebook now. Lots of misinformation on there though.
I was actually just looking for my jetting chart a few nights ago and it seems to have been lost with all of my other photo bucket images over the years. That was a big loss for my reference stuff... Wanting to put a 416 back in it and run an 11:1 je piston but want to get close with my jetting. Probably about a 175-178 will do the trick though. Unfortunately it has never ran nice enough with the 440 and the 450 carb in it to really want to keep riding it.
Thinking about trying to get some seat time on the 400 again next year.
The sxs is just so much smoother that it has become much more enjoyable to drive than inevitably being sore for a few days after riding my 400 for 50 miles. I put on 100-150 miles easily in a day with the sxs. Plus 172 hp is a blast when you want to open it up. Still isn't the same as wheelies over water puddles and stuff though.
Steve
yea a lot of the reference stuff is just long gone or hard to find. I might get a side by side one day, but really dont have much interest.
These days its all about the 450r and going to glamis or hatfield mccoy. I MIGHT get me a utility of some kind, as much as I dont like polaris their scrambler 1000 is hard to beat
:tired:
I still log in from time to time. Still messing with the 250r’s. Steve, the X3 is a nice machine. I was able to get a ride in one recently at Winchester Bay Oregon
was good times back then. Hope you are well.
