That 700 has way too much plastic!! If you swapped that plastic looking front bumper out for a traditional aluminum one plus remove the black front fender extensions and heelguards, it would probably look like a normal quad for the most part.
The 400 looks like something out of the movie "Alien":huh

yeah 400ex needs gas shocks up front ( I like the new front end, it looks sharp like it can cut you kinda unique)

I agree 1st of all the 700 the plastic looks like ***** and irs.. are u kidding me.? that will never hold a candle to the raptor.
2nd if they're not going to change anything but the body on the 400. why even bother. that engine is outdated. Don't get me wrong i love the 400ex. but if your gonna bring something to the table well then bring it! Don't F around, they should of went FI, liquid cooled,rezy shocks, and at least give it a nice set of plastic.

i think we are all a little dissapointed... i like the sharp edges on the 400ex but 700XX cut and chop some s*** off of that lol independant rear suspension is NOT the way to go. 400ex yes needs rezzies in the front, and efi would bring it to life. I couldnt care less about liquid cooling.
I hate to say this... but where's Yamaha's line up! Hopefully they did something right. Those are some butt ***** fugly bikes:o
haha sad but true the 400ex is nice style wise, front shocks needed to be rezzies but the 700XX has to be the weirdest looking quad. the big red looks like a rhino with down s******, I blocked that out so technically i didnt say it but put 2 and 2 together for that sentence.Quote:

The 400EX looks like a YFZ450 (the gas tank and the area on the hood closest to the handlebars) I like the 400EX though.
The BIG historic dinosaur 700XX is just a POLARIS wanna be. It appears you can take the front fenders off and the appearance will be 10x better,
