Trent Kandel's Pro Debut didn't go the way he had wished with him wrecking in Qualifier
Pro Last Chance Qualifier
The start of the LCQ started out much smoother than the Qualifer with Chad Weinen and Richard Pelchat battling for the Holeshot with Mitchell, Lamborn, and Lysinger in chase.
Things got crazy in the second turn when Lysinger drifted into Mitchell, which sent Mitchell flying off the side of his quad and into the path of Lamborn.
Luckily, Lamborn was able to avoid running over Mitchell as he rolled off the track over the berm. He jumped to his feet and ran over to seperate his quad from Lysingers, so the pair could resume the race, but with only two advancing their chances were slim with Weinen and Pelchat running away from the trio.
Chad Wienen was able to qualify for his 3rd consecutive Pro National since turning Pro at High Point with the LCQ win over the Richard Pelchat claiming the final Qualifying spot in second place.
For Donald Lysinger, his 4th place finish behind Donald Lamborn meant he would be watching the Main Event for the first time this season:(
Also, John Mitchell wouldn't get his opportunity to compete in Main Event either, but he finished 3rd in the Pro Am Production Class on Saturday and advanced to the Moto Two on Sunday where his bad luck continued when an electrical connector came apart leaving him sitting on the track and finishing 13th and 10th Overall.
