On lap 3 the field stabilized and riders kept pace in the drying fields.
Acceleration gave way to superior braking as passes were made and attempted.

Traci Cecco worked herself up to second place behind Borich mid way thru the race!
Hot on her grabbar was Johnny G running in 3rd
Laz Sommers was shown in 6th place overall and was looking great! Brandon on the other hand was not having a good day. He was towed off the track late in the race after snapping a chain:(
Borich remained out front and appeared to be on rails!
The best battle of the day raged for laps! Traci Cecco wasn't going to go back to 3rd place no matter what Johnny G had up his sleeve!
Other riders came past me and I gladly took thier picture, but my mind was on the battle I knew was unfolding in the woods between Cecco and Johnny G. Being personal friends of both of these riders added some spark to see who would have bragging rights when this shin-dig was over:macho
