Red Bud is one of the few tracks across the country that use transponders and decided to use them in the Pro class. A simple device the size of a quarter is inserted into a little elastic band for the riders to wear, just like you see. Seeing who had the fastest lap times made things a little more interesting.
Back at the nationals for a race, simply because he loves this track, Dana Creech took the three day trip to get there from California. Keith Little gives gives him the good luck wrist bump thing (no idea what the proper term is for that one is) :D

It would take a lap for John Natalie to get around Jeremiah Jones and settle in behind Doug Gust.

Getting a bum deal with 20th gate pick , Tim Farr (4) gets a bad start and try to do what he can to move up, here moving up over Gilbert Attix (309).
Dana Creech had an amazing ride in the Pro Qualifier the day before, but manages a back of the pack start, ahead of Matt White (32) and Donald Lysinger (411).
Tavis Cain came down in dead last but puts together a great ride moving in over riders on up to 14th for the moto.
