A crowd of people gathered around the perimeter of the fenced in field to catch a glimpse of their favorite riders heading into the 1st turn before disappearing off into the woods to return 30 minutes later after completing one lap on the newly designed 11 mile course.

The start of the Race had #10 Greg Trew getting the jump on his YFZ and grabbing his 1st Holeshot of the season.

In hot pursuit, William Yokley chased after Trew's roost heading across the road with with Brad Page,, Chris Jenks, Matt Smiley, Bill Ballance, and the rest of the class in chase.

After the top few made it through the narrow opening in the fence, Brandon Ballance collided with Bryan Baker and locked up front wheels as Johnny Gallagher squeezes through the gap.

Brandon Ballance and Bryan Baker weren't alone as Rhett Butler and Chad Duvall get hooked up together and bringing Andy Lagzdins and Kim Kuhnle to a halt right behind them at the back of the pack.

#14 Andy Lagzdins was finally able to squeeze around Rhett Butler and move up one position before heading into the woods with a long race ahead of him to make up time.

#10 Greg Trew lead the early charge into the woods with #2 William Yokley hanging tight right behind Trew before making his move to pass Trew and take over the lead:macho.

With the battle for the lead amongst the Pro Class well underway, it would be only one minute before the Pro Am Class would be set loose into the woods for their own battle for the class win and possible overall.
If any Pro Am rider was destined for the podium from the 2nd row, the first one to come to my mind, would have been none other than Adam(Kurt) McGill with his impressive track record of finishes this season. Adam has finished every race this season 15th Overall of better with two 7th Overall finishes and has won four Pro Am Class races along the way, and has already developed a 63 Points lead over 2nd Place Pro Am Rider Scott Fleischhauer.

Another top contender in the Pro Am Class, Duane Johson, has really picked up his game the past two races finishing behind McGill in 2nd Place and also has three top 20 Overall finishes this season and currently sits 4th in points behind another fast rider Scott Barron.
