2005 GNCC "Loretta Lynn’s" Round #6 Morning ATV Race Coverage

Stephanie Parton was rolling out front she pulled out to a 90 sec lead by the time she got to the finish line. She finished 6th overall and won the women’s class which earned her a 4 point lead over Traci Cecco for the championship.

Thomas Jenks #747 (no relation to Chris Jenks) was there to try and improve his position in the championship race. He finished 5th in his last race which was his best finish of the year.

Thomas Watbright grabs the hole shot on his Yamaha with John Gallager hot on his heels. Thomas needs a good finish today to catch Jim Clester and John Gallager in the points.

Going into the woods Thomas Waybright was still in the lead with the rest of the class trying to chase him down.

By the end of the first lap Johnny C Senior had taken over the lead from Thomas Waybright.

Thomas Waybright slipped back to third behind Ken Vickard.

Don Wessling took advantage of the 4-wheel drive and fought through the rough conditions to finish in 3rd.

Ken Vickerd ran into trouble on the third lap and was passed by John Hines and Thomas Waybright.

John Gallagher SR. came back from his bad luck in the Big Buck with a vengeance. Winning the race by more than 10 minutes over 2nd place.
