Two miles into the 1st lap, Chris Jenks emeraged from the woods an onto the MX track behind the starting line with several classes still waiting on the line for the start of their race.
Jeremy Rice made the pass on Ballance and moved into 2nd Place a few seconds behind Jenks with Borich quickly moving in behind Rice in third place.
Chris Jenks leads the way with Rice chasing afte his roost with Borich and Ballance launching over a small double within a few feet of each other.
Chris Borich was able to hold off the highly skilled MX rider, Bill Ballance, as they headed around one of the last turns of the MX turns before heading back into the woods.

#4 Factory Polaris Rider, Matt Smiley, had his Predator up to 6th Place and looking to put his Predator back on the Podium.
After a great promising start, #16 Santo Derisi was back to 7th place with #23 Bryan Baker closing in from behind as #14 Andy Lagzdins head appears behind the jump in 9th.
By the end of the 1st lap, Chris Jenks remained in the lead with 10 seconds seperating him from battling duo of Borich and Ballance, but what happened to Jeremy Rice?
Rice ended up snapping off his right foot peg, which forced him to drop back :(
A crowd of spectators gathered around the edge of the sediment pond watching to see what line the leaders would take after coming through the finish line. Would they risk heading through the water saturated clay and slit or take the several second detour around the drainage pound.
Jason Weigandt stood in the thick of the muddy pit describing to the Camera what the riders would face if they attempted the challenging short cut, but the roar of the Jenks machine caught his attention as he decided to cut his report short and head to higher ground and watch for himself how the riders would fair through the mud.
Jenks stayed on the gas as he blasted his Maxxis tires across the top of the mud and made it look easy.
