#3 William Yokley is currently in 2nd place in points behind Bill Ballance. William lost his spot on the podium at the last race when Chris Borich passed him with only a few turns to go, and I could tell he was hungry for a podium finish.
It was interesting to watch several Japanese gentleman closely inspect and photograph Jeff Stoess’s ATK quad on the starting line.
#22 Kim Kuhnle got off to a good start this season with several top 20 Overall finishes, but has since to break into the top 20. He has been extremely consistent though with only one finish lower than the top 35 Overall.
#334 Thomas Barrett is the only Pro Rider left that remains on a 400EX. His best finish this year was 10th Overall at Rausch Creek, which surprisingly he finished his best last year with a 4th overall and only a few seconds behind Santo Derisi. I would definitely say that Thomas must not be afraid of the rocks.
#15 Andy Lagzdins has been extremely consistent since switching to his 450R, except for the Wisp when his aftermarket linkage broke. He is currently 12th in the Pro Class and is only a few points out of the top 10.
#18 Jared Gruca is currently 16th in the Pro Class
#10 Brandon Ballance
Look at that pose, do I need to say anymore:D
By the time National Anthem was played, the rain began to pour down. Many spectators began running for shelter out of the rain, while Junior Class rider, Gregory Foggin, proudly held his hand to his heart with stars and strips helmet on. It was truly patriotic moment!
Racer Productions wasted no time in starting the race, which caught me totally off quard as I ran through the rows of quads and across the start straight away to grab a shot of the Pros before they headed into the woods.
Bill Ballance and William Yokley were out front!
