Doug Gust is a motocross machine, a real workhorse.

Doug is the man!
Bill Ballance is going to retire at 32 yrs old...HA!
Doug could have a boy Bills age racing. LOL
And your correct on the clause in Dougs contract. Chad was going either way as Zuki wanted only 1 racer this year.
Anyone know anything about John Reagon, have not seen his name in the last couple rounds???
I believe his name is John Ragon, isn't it? Wasn't he on a Honda last year?
I believe Ragon is running the NEATV series
I saw David Porter won the Senior 40 Plus class taking a 1st in both motos. The results page listed his machine brand as "PRP", which we all know stands for Porter Racing Products. Did anyone see what he was riding? Was he on *gasp* a 250R?
I know John and I don't live too far from him either and I didn't hear it from him personally but i heard from a really good source that John Ragon isn't going to race the nationals b/c he wasnt invited to an invitational event so he pretty much said to heck with them. John has been involved with the nats for years so I understand if he's mad bc he wasnt invited to a big event and some younger guys were.Quote:

Doug is a heck of a rider, and hes not hard to please so thats proubably why they keep him, he still runs consistly in top 5-8 every race so its not a bad thing that he is with them. But man that man lets the quad beat him, I heard some guys talking from suzuki that doug likes his shocks stiff, next time you watch with pay attention. it seems like has 300 pounds in the fox shocks hahahahahaha looks like he is riding on two-by-fours hahahaha bless his heart.
Wimmer on the other hand is the pickest person when it comes to a quad. They said his steering steem was a 1/4 inch shorter on one of his bikes and he noticed it before he even rode. so i bet setting his bike up is a mess hahah but once its dialed in look what the kid does.... suzuki still has the best team, but I think if more people could keep bikes together it might be a different story
I've always noticed that about Doug. Even though he looks smooth a lot of times he still looks REALLY stiff.Quote:
