Keep in mind, there has been at least 4 hours of racing on that track. Anyone who has ever raced a GNCC knows the course gets blown out and multiple lines develop...... You end up losing track of the originals, especially when spectators are pointing a certain way. You end up relying on them.
I don't know what happened.....but I can guarantee you Borich wouldn't purposely cut the course. Anyone that suggests otherwise is a fool.

I wasn't there either, but when you read at the 10.2 mile marker that Ballance is in the lead with Borich on his butt, then at the 12 mile marker that Borich has a 15 sec lead, that is one heck of a alternate route. That's not a different line, that's another direction. 15 sec in less then 2 miles is a huge gap to build up between these pros. And I would not be suprised if that was the section that was protested.Quote:

I don't think it's uncommon....
Bottleneck, crash, stuck......could be alot of stuff.
Who knows for sure, I just didn't want to see it end this way.

Yep.....I saw it after I posted GE4x4. My bad. But, like I said above, anything could have happened. It's just ridiculous to see people hide behind the keyboard throwing insults when they know nothing of Borich's character. You might be able to call him alot of things, but cheater isn't one of them.
