Ken Robey has been a man on a mission since making the switch back to Kawasaki at the Penton, and he won the last four races which catapulted him up into the points chase between Mike Penland and Michael Swift.
Robey’s winning streak would come to an end this weekend when he experienced some tie-rod and cotter pin issues, which sent him for a superman flight over the handlebars, which dropped him from second place back to fourth to finish out the race.
The Winner of the Utility Stock Class will come down to Ironman with the pressure on Penland because even if he wins the race Robey can still win the Championship by finishing in second place behind him, which will have Penland holding steady with 11 Championships.

The Stock class is full of talent, and by no means are very many of the riders racing showroom stock machines. The new 06 TRX450R would make its debut at the Powerline, and Dave Bishop wasted no time getting his electric start R out front.

The first turn wasnt going to take the speed Bishop was willing to give it and he quickly found himself staring down the onslaught of those behind him!

Thankfully everyone missed Bishop and the race for turn two was on between Jarrod McClure & Chris Neal. Bishop wouldn't be the only rider to spin out in the field as several more riders including Chris Neal would spin out before heading into the woods with Billy Good taking the lead followed by Jarrod McClure hot on his heels.
Eric Haspel would also get off to a great start in third with Harlen Foley in fourth with Michael Sroka and John Wright in chase.
Billy Good would spin out and allow Jarrod McClure to take over the lead, which he would never surrender as he would go on to claim overall for the second time in a row as this young talent keeps getting better with every race and is still a teenager with years of racing ahead of him.
Harlen Foley learned a valuable lesson that you should never race a new quad without riding it first as he struggled all day with his new machine, and allowed both Michael Sroka and John Wright to pass him at the end of the first lap.
Sroka would go on to finish his best race of the season in third place with Eric Haspel dropping back to finish in 7th ahead of Foley whose day went from bad to worse on the last lap when his kill switch failed at the 2 mile marker, which left him sitting for atleast a minute trying to figure out the problem.

Glen Pritchard wouldn’t grab the Holeshot on his Suzuki as he rounded turn one chasing after two Yamaha’s and a 250R, but he would waste no time taking over the lead and pulling close to a two minute lead over second place Aaron DeLancey by the end of the first lap, and he would extend his lead to over three minutes before getting tangled up in a grape vine trying to get around Harlen Foley after his Suzuki shutoff in the trail. Foley would drift his Suzuki out of the way for Pritchard to continue the race, which costed him some time, but he still managed to win the race by over two minutes over Aaron Delancy with Chris Gray in third.
