im gonna try to tear into this weekend if not tomorrow. But im trying to get my wifes quad rideable for the dunes in february. where can i get that idle screw you guys mention of. My cable was over a foot long and so I just ordered a yfz cause thats what has been recommended on here.
C&D has the Zip-Ty idle screws. Actually I just looked and I've got a 52 pilot in my FCR41.
i got my adjustable fuel screw from C&D too. they have a few different ones to choose from actually.
which do you reccomend and whats the differrence between the different screws?
some of the adjustable ones you can turn with your hand and others you need needle nose pliers. i got the white brothers one and i honestly can't get my hand to it enough to turn it that well. i know they make a red anodized one that is a knob. i would probably get this if i had to do it again. howver, i have been told this one may rest on the starter but you better check with dusty at C&D. she would know more than me.
richen your slow jet first, don't bother with anything other that that yet. Unless you like to spend money.
Zip-Ty makes the red ones with the knob.
