There were some great looking 400ex based machines at this event.
The first turn had 2 seperate lines riders could chose from. During practice riders had the false sense that it would remain smooth!
The mix of talent during practice caused a few tense moments as faster riders met slower ones
"Landing in the sand was like landing with the brake on" is the way one rider described it to me. I saw several riders early in practice almost go over the bars
This awesome YFZ lands a jump and stays on the gas!
The sand favors the higher horsepower machines and this cannondale rider took full advantage of it!

At times you couldnt tell that this was just practice!
