Nope they use 18.25"... Trust me you wouldn't be able to sneak another .25" shock on there.... ~JAY
Really!!? I called Herman a bit ago, and spoke with Mike I think his name was...I have an 18.5" long shock, and he said it shouldnt be a big deal..That there might be a bit of drag when the bike was in air and shocks full extended, but that the ride height could be adjusted to compenate...what do you think? Or what a-arms take an 18.5" long shock...I want that gull wing look..
I'm not sure what other arms take 18.5", but i know that when we installed the 18.25" ones, they just fit... Frank actually had to push and compress the shock a tiny bit to get it so i could get the bolt through on the top mount. I'd suggest getting the exact length that they recommend, cuz otherwise even if the arms fit with the shocks, you will be over extending the arms past what they are supposed to. Just my thoughts, but you do what you want. ~JAY

Yeah your probaly right.. I understand that it could over extend them..Do you know of any a-arms that take 18.5" shocks...Or why would they make them like that?
Where in Fondy are you? It seems that nobody around here has a stunning bike like they do out west, so it is really cool to see one of the locals with a nice one.
Do you ever ride the lake in the winter (if it ever freezes:scary: )
I live a little south of Fondy, near Lomira... I don't race in winter, just summer.. Thanks , JAY
