Junior A fired off the line next as Rob Oakley battles for the lead entering turn 1

With the starts complete, I hustled through the woods to try and cut off the leaders. My wait was very short when the first XC1 rider approached at a high rate of speed! It was McGill hammer down!

Borich was so close that my flashes didnt have time to recycle. Mcgill's win at this round last year was marked by a 6 minute margin of victory, I dont think anyone wanted to let him run away with it this year!

Brian Wolf was smoking fast as he rips past me. The course was fast, almost to fast in some sections but these guys can handle it:p

The course was rutted in many sections as the soft soil gave way. At many of the small stream crossings, the dirt that was added as a make shift bridge would get very deep ruts by the end of the race

Racing condtions had deffinatley improved this season over 2008. The mud wasnt a factor for most
