Jeremy Benson grabbed the Holeshot with Nathan Hornacek spinning around backwards around the 1st turn and starting last on his yellow 300EX.
Joseph Margarva used his Blaster to pass Jeremy down the stretch to the third turn.
Joseph went on to win his first race of the season and was the only Sport rider to complete three laps:macho
After all the rain, the parking area became extremely slick as well, and once again, people had to be towed out.
Josh Whitehead came within a few inches of jack kniving his trailer as he was being pulled out.
I decided that I just needed to put the pedal down to get out and that is exactly what I did, and I quickly realized my trailer was sliding on a flat tire. Luckily I made it to the level road without any major incident.
John Ayers and the GNCC staff quickly came to my aid and helped me change the tire, which I truly appericiated since I forgot my trailer jack.
Thanks Again, John for all your help:)
that boy is a machine, he's a threat now, wait until he does some suspension work! if you could look thru the history of the sport class, i believe that makes joseph the first non honda framed rider to win a sport class race ( a guy did win on a blaster once, but it was in a 250r frame and is now illegal as the class has adaopted the stock fame/engine case rule from the pro class) way to go josephQuote:

You probably would have been set up for dry conditions like most there.
It didn't rain until we all got to the line, in fact it was hot and dry up till then.
It was sloppy.
I think I was in second place until about 10 minutes from the finish.
When most of the guys passed me on a slick hill that I didn't make on my first attempt I figured that I was being lapped but I ended up finishing right behind them all.
