Matthew Clapp has finished extremely well in the last two muddy races this season with a 4th at the Hurricane and a 2nd at Sparta. All the other races, he nevered finished in the top 10, but unfortunately, the Ohio mud didn't work in his favor, and he finished the day in 11th.

With the rain really coming down, the Benson brothers shared and umbrella before the race. Jeremy Benson(Left) is currently leading the Sport Class while Shane Benson(Right) is 4th in the Open B Class. They ended up finishing the Sparta race only 3 place apart overall, which was pretty cool.

It was great to see Shane Nash back in action after he wrecked at Loretta's on the MX Track, which put a nice slice in his leg. He gave it time to heal and quickly returned to racing, but unfortunately the mud didn't do him well, and he only finished two laps.

Ty Rogers has only been able to attend two GNCC races this year and both of them were the muddiest races ever (Sparta & Penton). Ty would have run in the Morning, but he needed to borrow parts from my Z to race, so he was forced to race in the afternoon.
Hopefully, he won't have to run in the mud at the next race he attends.
