With the Parade lap completed, the Pros lined up and wait for Jeff Russell to give them the signal before the gate drops.
The Gate Dropped, and the High Point 2nd Moto was underway!
Doug Gust once again grabbed the holeshot with #4 Tim Farr, #13 John Natalie Jr., and #53 Kory Ellis following side by side behind him as they rounded the 1st turn.
Unlike the 1st Moto, everyone rounded the corner without incident as they chased after #55 Doug Gust.
Once again, by the end of the 1st lap, #13 John Natalie Jr. had passed Doug Gust and was leading the race:macho
Kory Ellis and Doug Gust battled for the 2nd spot with #4 Tim Farr, #191 Dustin Wimmer, and #91 Jasmin Plante following close behind.
John Natalie Jr. looked so smooth as he flew around the track with Doug a few seconds behind him.
#55 Doug Gust was putting his Z to the test as he bottoms it completely out trying to keep pace with John.
Only a couple of laps into the race, and John Natalie was gradually developing a gap between him and Doug Gust, and it looked like he was going to walk away easily with the 2nd Moto.
