the bottom motor mount on the r lines up with the 85 and then made front mounts and mounts in back ,i did not cut any of the stock mounts on the r , i can still go back to 250r motor just by cutting the new mounts off but this quad will be getting a 250 four stroke motor in a few years when the 250 classes start up, raptor 250 , lt 250 ect, i will take some pics of mounts.
255 lbs - unbelievable weight! I think it is lighter then Keith Littles all titanium R for TT....
how did the pipe and silencer mount up.;)Quote:

the pipe i had to cut and twist in two places but did not shorten or lengthen the pipe so it wouldnt change the tuning , and the kick starter when you open it to start i exstended it out 2 1/2 inches to clear the frame, and used rebal gears conversion sprockets to a 428 chain instead of 420 that come on cr85s, gearing is 13-52 and thats it and yes i was in the garage for a why'll:D but well wirth it because my son says he wouldnt sell it for a millon dollors:macho .
by the way kidsonquads.com get these quads down to 245 pounds by using a hollow axle and a no link lighter swingarm but i will use the cr500 link set up because it works so well and deal with the 10-15 pounds differents, last race out of the burm in third gear pined hit the 20 yards of deep woops and skimed across the top like a pro:macho .
After seeing that i might build one down the road. Be a cool bike to play around on.:machoQuote:
