Wow this was the 1st motocross national that my 10 year old son and I have gone to. I have gone to and raced in numerous EDT nationals. Its great to see some of these nationals moving up to the midwest.
I have one little discretion though, and someone correct me if I'm wrong. After the second moto all my son wanted to do is to meet some of the pros and get some autographs. I wont say some of the names, but the more recognized guys didnt seem like they had any time at all for this. I'm sorry but I believe that these kids that are involved with this sport are the future and should be catering to them if we want to keep this sport alive. The way it sounds the #'rs are down in motocross as well as they are in EDT.
I do want to give a great thanks to Keith Little though. This guy is a 1 man crew and still had time to talk to my son for 10-15 minutes. Although he had some mechanical issues he took time to talk to his fans. Perhaps some of these younger pros could take some notes from this guy. Although he got last he was 1st in my sons eyes that day.
i think just my opinion, that putting both motos in a day crowds the pro's time between motos and dosent give them as much time to deal with fan and such. i liked it better when it was split .Quote:

Glad to hear the good news about keith, he seems to be down and in a dry spell the last few years but he is still a great rider. just wish he could get the fire back in him he use to have. if your from the tt side you should see keith on a tt track, thats where he really shines.
