I don't know how much of a fact it is. I remember reading a shoot out where 9 racers spent time on both the 450r and the predator and they were EVEN in the shootout

yeah, and last year he was on a straight axil!!!!!!
They weren't even but each one had its advantages and disadvantages in certain area's. At the end of the 12 hours the Polaris was the winner.Quote:

He was in third place and on the charge with less than half a lap till the checkers... had William (Yokley), who was at that point still in second, in his sights and the engine siezed up!!! EEK!!! I know he was really disappointed but after witnessing that start, I was just glad to have him back in one piece!!!!! I feel bad for William also, who now I see had similar luck. (btw... did your mom get her new puppy yet??)Quote:

Smiley didnt even race what are you guys *****ing about a factory was involved in the pro class and no longer is it is a shame. I have a feeling polaris pulled the plug since now matt wasnt even racing I doubt he had the time to just switch programs right away it sucks big time and it was cool having Yamha Suzuki Honda and Polaris invloved. But now we are back to the Big 3
I just ment in the scoring system they were even and was pointing out that to say to make the bold statement that the 450R is better than any polaris is incorrect. I thought the Yamaha won the shootout???Quote:

There are not many pros on a Pred because no one gives them a chance. Look at the aftermarket stuff, tons and tons of stuff for the 450's, but can't find squat for the Pred. How much money do you think are on the front end of Ballence, Borich, and other Pros? ASR/FX a-arms, Houser, and so on. There fully adjustable, but what does the Pred get, nothing, as most are still riding stock a-arms. It's the same with swing arms and tie rods and ends. NOBODY makes them for the Pred. So how do you expect a near stock quad going up against $20000 quads? Well Smiley did just that last year. But I would get sick of seeing everyone else get all the goodies and I sit back dealing with stock stuff. So many people including many on this site have got Polaris so stereotype that there junk, that most believe it.Quote:

No polaris bashing here there at best a decent race quad but not even is the same league as any of the other 450's. Thats not a opinion its fact, if its as great as you think why isn't any on pro row? The only one who would ride one didn't like it. There are only 3 guys who get money from manufactures to ride there brand of bike, the rest ride what they think can give them the best chance to win and guess what? There is no one riding a polaris, I wonder what that means.:)
