An exhausted #14 Andy Lagzdins dropped back to 12th Overall after Jeremy Rice caught and passed him on the last lap, which was only the third time all season he has finished out of the top 10 Overall.
If I were Lagzdins, I wouldn't feel too bad considering he was actually only 24 seconds out of 8th Overall as Derisi, Butler, Knippenberg, Rice, and Lagzdins all finished within a few seconds of each other after two hours of racing.
Adam McGill and Duane Johnson remained together the entire race with Adam McGill holding on to take his 7th win of the season and wrap up the Pro Am Championship, which will allow him to make the move to the Pro Class for the final 3 rounds of the GNC Series.
Brent Sturdivant held on to finish all four laps for the first time since Texas to finish in 3rd place and 16th Overall. Congratulations Brent, and I hope you rubbed it in to Brandon all the way home after he finished in 6th place.
Chris Bithell moved to within 5 seconds of Brent by the end of the race with Michael Burrows finishing right behind him in 6th.
The Top Three Overall Finishers (Jenks, Borich, Ballance) took to the Podium with the crowd gathered around.
Chris Jenks apologized to blasting past Brandon Ballance in the Creek, and explained he knew that it might have been his only chance to pass.
Brandon Congratulated Jenks on his Win with a hand shake.
Brandon had more important things to worry about like getting the Troph Girl, Traci Cecco's phone number and finding out what time Rick Cecco goes to bed, lol.
Chris Borich didn't win this weekend, but his 2nd place finish moved him one step closer to his goal of a GNCC National Championship.
#7 Chris Jenks was #1 this weekend with his 1st overall Finish, and he displayed it with pride, and I have no doubt that this won't be the last time we seek Jenks at the top of the Podium because I think once someone gets the taste of a win, they want it even more the next time.

Craig Reed was a dominate rider in the Stock Class last year, and he is just as fast on a modified 450R, but he admits that he misses racing in the Stock Class.
