Byrd held the lead on lap 1 as Weinen and Wimmer give chase

Weinen would get by Byrd and was off and running!

The top 3 remained close, but it was Wimmers speed down the freeway that impressed me!

Natalie was on the move and after battling with Miller, he would be off to hunt down the leaders!

Greg Gee and Russel Schumaker make contact and were both lucky they didnt get hung up!

Wimmer sent Byrd back a spot and now controlled the #2 position as he set his sights on Weinen!

Wimmer reeled in Weinen and I saw Wimmer look back over the triple. I figured Wimmer would hold his position unless Weinen made a mistake or gave him a clean shot at the lead.

Josh Upperman would soon be dealing with Dug Gust as the old man was ready to move up a few spots!

Pat Brown would soon be putting the moves on Pelchat as he too was looking for more.
