Byrd isnt even close to being a privateer. He is backed by american honda. He has just as many quads as the factory guys. Rocco, Dunk, Downen, & any other Honda pro are Privateer. Byrd also has unlimited parts, Funds probabaly not as much, but he is By far from being a Privateer. What Chad said was Flippin Funny, that is what it was meant to be. You dont think Dasa is takin care off him. Both excellent riders, was just Chads day.

And you sir took the words out of my mouth. I gurantee Byrd has just as many "one-off" parts as suzuki. The only major thing I know of Suzuki has that is one-off is the computer on the quads. I'm sure there are other little wing-dings but nothing that makes a HUGE difference.Quote:

well, yes byrd does have several quads,and several oem parts,do you see honda having riders or a honda semi at the races no!!!!!!!!!!suzuki has traction control in there computers just like the road race teams,thats why the factroy bikes come out of the corners so good,limits wheel spin>>>>>>suzuki strives off r&d and testing new parts.Honda does nothing,except what joe and dan(dasa) do...Dont get me wrong chad and all the top pros are all fast,but look at chad before the factory ride and then now,You have a full team like suzuki behind you,You cant go wrong,besides the knowone likes joe comment>>>>>knowone likes a winner..........fact in any sport
You used the PRIVATEER, that is not even close to what he is, I have nothing against him he and anyone who is on the top 20 starting gate is good, real good. Ask any of the honda RIDERS, if they would like to have what joe has?? But he has the skills to back it up. Just Privateer & Joe byrd dont belong to describe what he has. Iam sure over the years he has earned Hondas SUPPORT.
Again what Chad said was really Funny. I bet even joe had to snicker at that. And when joe races @ Chads track & wins he can come up with something funny.

you know what else know one likes....someone who opens there mouth and lets words dribble out that have no facts backing them up....its byrds own fault that he doesn't run a suzuki and can't use a "traction control" in his mapping....and you are also extremely wrong about chad. he took a true privateer setup and started getting results out of it because of his work ethic, which is why suzuki picked him up, if it weren't for all the mechanical problems he was having with his HONDA he could have won the championship....and as for nobody liking byrd, it has nothing to do with how many times he wins, its how many times he uses unsportsmanlike riding techniques to get there. next time you should sit back and think real hard before you type so the stupidity level of your post isn't so high. oh and before you go bashing me for being a suzuki lover i'm actually a josh creamer/kawi fan.Quote:

stupidity level? uh, well anyway His riding style isnt any different than anyone,at the level they are and the money they get paid,its on the line and they do what it takes,Knowone bashes villopota or stewart for making block passes or sticking it in.Joe has come from rock bottom living in a little shack working at dominos to where he his today on his own work ethic,hell when he started racing pro he was still running stock shocks,but anyway with the deal hes got for next year that will be announced shortly he will be champ again............
when villapoto or stewart make block passes 95% of the time they are retaliated against witihin a lap or two, joe on the other hand makes sure that if he sticks somebody that he sticks them into the dirt, hay bale, tree, or anything else he can find that will stop them from moving.
