Several miles into the second lap, Bill Ballance maintained the lead with Chris Bithell remaining right behind him along with a train of several other Pro Riders.

Bryan Cook remained only a few seconds behind the lead pack
After nearly a minute, Jeremy Rice came blasting through the water with William Yokley right behind him followed by Brent Sturdivant.
William Yokley danced around on his Suzuki as if he was trying to avoid the water droplets flying through the air.
The next riders to appear were Michael Houston and Johnny Gallagher
Andy Lagzdins was all over Santo Derisi as he attempted to make the pass while eating receiving a bath from the water spray off Santo's Tires. Lagzdins would eventually make the pass and move up into 13th behind Brandon Ballance.
Bryan Baker blasted through the water as he tried to make up time after smacking a tree in the first lap, which sent his rear end smacking into Smiley, which broke off Smiley's foot peg.
Smiley was forced back to the pits to hose clamp on his footpeg and Baker was trying to recover from his mistake as he worked his way up to 15th place.
Near the end of the lap, the Pros crossed the stream again the leaders remained unchanged with Ballance leading followed by Bithell, Borich, Johnson, Jenks, and Cook.
