4 Stroke A
John Rowling has finally found a machine that can replace his cannondale. John attempted to switch to a 250R last year, but it only lasted for one race and he went back to his Cannondale. This year with the Honda money on the line, he decided to give the 450R a try. It was a bit rocky at first because he quickly found out how easily the tie-rods bend on these machines, but once he got all the bugs worked out, he has been on a "Rowl":D
John has finished the last three races in the top 40 Overall and top 4 in his class, and he has quickly moved up to 5th in the 4stk A Class.
The start had Gregg Stewart leading Doug Flinner and Derek Litterini down the straight away.
Gregg Stewart and Scott Barron Battles for lead in the right hand corner. While, John Rowlings "Ragweed" takes the inside line. Doug Flinner spins his Cannondale around backwards in the background.
Some more of the 1st turn Carnage:eek2:
Doug Flinner ended up working his way up to 1st place heading into the 4th lap with a two minute lead, but never finished the last lap and dropped back to 4th place.
John Rowlrag lead for the first two laps and had over a four minute leading heading into the third lap, but he ended up stuck in a bottleneck that was later rerouted which allowed others to easily pass him and he ended up taking almost an hour to finish the third lap which sent him back to 7th place:(
Justin Trevis ended up finishing out his day in 6th Place and is currently 10th in the class.
Junior Class
The Start!
Jared Huffman grabbed the Holeshot and went on to win the race with a 12th overall finish. Bryan Davis finished behind him in 2nd Place.
Pete Stadtmueller had a race that he would rather forget after taking almost 1.5 hours to finish his first lap. He didn't quite though and put in another lap with allowed him to finish 15th, but dropped him back to 4th Place in class after Tadd Wooldrige finished third and jumped past him in points.
