Wyatt Westmoreland went on to win the race in the Junior Class which was his his third win of the year, but his previous two wins were in the 2 Stroke C class in the morning, so Wyatt has easily adapted to racing in the afternoon.
Pete Stadtmueller didn't have his best race of the season, but he continues to be consistent and finished 10th in the Class.
Vet Class
Gary Belbeck made the trip once again on his awesome looking Z400 and was poised and waiting for the flag to fly. Gary may not finish out front every race, but isn't from lack of effort! He has only missed racing one GNCC this year, and he has been a great help in keeping me going this year racing the Stock Class. Thanks Gary for all your help and making race day so much fun:D
Kevin Wall and Blaine Shick grabbed the early lead rounding turn one.
Marty chased the leaders down with a swarm on quads on his rear!
In the End, Eric Lemley went on to win his fourth race of the year with an impressive 22nd overall finish. Blaine Shick & Kevin Wall rounded out the top three.
Senior Class
John Cunningham Jr waits on the starting line with his son! John has been having a great year on his Gas Gas. John finished 2nd at Rausch Creek and is currently second in the points behind undefeated Dave Simmons.
Not surprisingly, Dave Simmons grabbed the Holeshot rounding turn one.
John and the rest of the class chase after Dave around the second turn!
Halfway through the 1st lap, John Houser and John Cunningham Jr. were still within striking distance of Dave Simmons, but that didn't last for long, by the end of the second lap Dave had almost a four minute lead. Dave went on to finish an amazing 35th overall as a senior, which wasn't even a season's best. Dave is truely and incredible racer and has won every race he entered this season with eight so far!!!
Congratulations to John Cunningham Jr for his second place finish and John Houser who finished third.
John Kenney rode his way to a fifth place finish
