An average speed of 30 MPH is a 12 minute lap, so...there's a some 4th and 5th gear sections, but the sections where you drop back into 2nd are the ones that keep your average speed down. I did 4 laps when I was out there (after 5 laps on the MX track) and my lap times were 17 (learning the course), 15, 12, and 15 (got major arm pump) minutes..."approximately". I wasn't running a stop watch, just looking at my watch when I started and finished.
