There wasn't any excuses, even on a quad that was stock width. The rider was going to learn how to do it regardless! In a few laps, Cody had the turn down and was zipping in and out of it way faster then he had just a day prior. What Dunk had been teaching and what Wimmer was reaffirming was starting to show itself!

Once Dunk and Wimmer were satisfied, the riders were paired up and drilled to race each other over two jumps and 3 turns

For many, this would be the first time they ever jumped side by side....and at speeds alot faster then they thought they could!

Corner exit speeds meant better runs at the jump and the pass!

The youngest rider and the newest rider were learning, and it was great to see it!!

It started getting hairy as the riders began pushing it. Cody (on the outside) wasn't giving an inch as they hit the take off. Unfortunatley, that side of the lip kicks you funny:eek:

I could see he was way out of shape and heading to the downside and the berm that awaited him as he drifted to his left:scary:

I couldnt see what was going on....but from Dunks body language it was hairy from his perspective:p

A lot of throttle, a limp body and alot of luck had him dart out the other side still battling for the lead:D THANK YOU GOD!!!:D
