#53 Kory Ellis returned from his Sight lap eyeing up the starting gate, and probably wishing that he could atleast be in the top five heading into turn one because he has the speed to run up front, but starting near the back and working his way up isn't easy.
Kory Ellis was testing out some new ITP SX tires in the rear for the 2nd Moto, and ATVriders.com will be releasing more details on these new tires shortly along with the matching Front SX tires from ITP Tires

by the 2nd turn, Jeremiah Jones was able to take over the lead with Byrd dropping in behind him in 2nd place.
Travis Spader was running in the top 10 before flipping over heading into the turn before dropping into "Gravity Cavity" which sent him to the back of the pack and ruined his chances of a podium finish without a miracle.
Unfortunately, #75 Joe Haavisto would also run into some bad luck on the 1st lap and replace Travis Spader at the back of the pack.
