Rick Cecco wasn't able to maintain the lead in the last lap:( , but he still was able to finish 5th and 17th Overall which was his best finish this year.
Jeremy Rice pushed hard in the last two laps, and was able to somewhat recover from the 2nd lap bottleneck which dropped him back to 9th place. The was able to work his way back up to 6th place and finished only five seconds behind Rick Cecco.
Brian Schmid was able to work his way up to finish 9th after being back to 15th at the start of the race.
Jason Lewis all cleaned up after the race! Can you tell he is happy about his finish.
Due to the heavy amount of mud on the majority of the quads I wasn't able to recognize as many people as I would have liked, but I do have some awesome photos of the starts and some actions shot of those that I could pick out.
Open A
Wesley Fruits started the season out on a Polaris and has since switched to the Honda 450R. He had his best race of the season at the Wisp with a 37th overall finish. He is currently in 10th Place in the Open A Class.
can you count how many people are under this one umbrella? I counted six, but maybe you can find more.
The start had Jesse Burton, Josh Whitehead, and Mike Benson Charge ahead of the pack toward the first turn!
Jesse Brunton on his 400EX was too hard on the gas heading into the turn and began a 360 spin as Daman Causey locked it up to try to avoid the side collision:eek:
Wesley Fruits and Tom Hertz over his shoulder chase after the leaders toward the 2nd turn.
