ATVA Class Change
I just got my ATVA news and it talks about rule changes for 2004 for teen quad races. In the 200cc 2 stroke and the 300cc 4-stroke, the age has been lowered to 13 instead of 14. As long as the rider fits the quad. Thats some good news for us, but I think thats going to only apply to mx. I wish there was a hare scramble class for my son. It seems like the lowest age I can find for a 300 is 16.

The rule applies to all trypes of events. but, the promoter does not have to run that class. that class is only run most of the time at MX not XC events.

TPR, Do you ever ride in the Flat River Gran Prix? Thats the only time my son ever got to do a XC.

I just happen to be one of the promoters of that race. We will still have the intown start for this coming year and we will also be going though the building (both levels) again.

Cool! I did it in 2000 (it rained its butt off) and I don't think the buildings were done that year. Maybe I can get some friends interested this year and we can come up for 2004!
