ok next ? The air(or gas) screw onthe bottom. In or out to make it rich?im thinking out?
Look for the hardest to get to screw on teh botton of your carb.
You will need a real short screwdriver to get to it.
Stock pos is like2-1/2 to 3 turns out.
Becareful if u happen to screw it all the way in don't do it tight, its easy 2 mess it up if you tighten it down hard.
:bandit:
i know where its at plus the stock setting. But am i right that out will make it richer? and in leaner?
its a fuel skrew so out will make it richer.
Screw in = lean
Screw out = rich
Keep in mind the fuel mixture screw (and pilot jet) only affect the mixture from idle to 1/4 throttle. 1/4-3/4 throttle is the needle and seat, 3/4 to full throttle is the main jet.
Removing the airbox lid will problaby require at least changing the main jet, and/or possibly moving the clip on the needle down one notch.
