Motors

WeLl we got our motor s in today won't be long now. Got way more parts than I was expecting. Pitster have been extreme helpful t hank you

They seem to help us out too when we need it

Kids ran the smaller motor all day.(typhoon) Surprisingly strong, three kicks it fired right up. Will start on the 125 swap as soon as I get a new spindle for the honda.

The 70 motor seems stronger than the 125 that I took off the typhoon. So far very impressed. The carb really woke the motor up

do the 90 , 125 and the 150 all use the same motor mounting?
just yank one out and swap for the larger??

yes i believe so.... if you go to the 160 motors or larger you have to buy an adapter to make the pipe work(klx style head)

i havent got the spindle in yet but tomorrow i am starting on the honda swap anyways.... so by thurs. i should have it going...

I did have to pull the complete wiring harness off the typhoon and will do the same thing to the honda....Yes they supplied the whole kit for the motor so i dont have to buy anything else.......

Ran into kick starter problems today . Will post pics as soon as I figure out how to get them off the phone onto the comp.......

Kickstarter problems? Lemme guess,,, you were kicking it like it's a Jap bike?

no i just had the wrong kickstarter... They are sending the right one should be in wed or thurs..............

Well we put the basically stock pitster motor against a built apex and a couple of takegawa motors.. Ran with them just didn't have the top end the others had. Those were built motors tho. Rage built one , Scott built one the apex was a BHR motor... It didn't do to bad.

Only mods on the pitster were carb and gearing..... Remeber I have a pitster motor on a honda 90 with robbs suspension.

I am getting another motor and sending it to Rage ATV to give it some rage power. Its definitely going to make power..
